Description

We are a research group at the Department of Scientific Computing. We are mainly interested in the mathematical foundations of diverse areas of Scientific Computing. Our current research includes:

• Monte Carlo and Quasi-Monte Carlo methods for high dimensional Numerical Integration
• Numerical Integration and Approximation of functions in a Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space
• Computational Physics (Nonlinear Dynamics)
• Mathematical Foundations of Signal and Image Processing (Fourier Analysis and Wavelet Theory)
