Description
We are a research group at the Department of Scientific Computing. We are
mainly interested in the mathematical foundations of diverse areas of
Scientific Computing. Our current research includes:
- Monte Carlo and Quasi-Monte Carlo methods for high dimensional Numerical
Integration
- Numerical Integration and Approximation of functions in a Reproducing
Kernel Hilbert Space
- Computational Physics (Nonlinear Dynamics)
- Mathematical Foundations of Signal and Image Processing (Fourier Analysis
and Wavelet Theory)
